This isthe poem which came to my mind while I was coming back to Chandigarh from Kasauli..... The clouds rose from the plains of Chandigarh to the height of the Shivalik ranges..... and soon the sky became murky andteh calm forest that hovers over the National Highway became dark and noisy.....
The clouds thundered
The lightening occurred
Flashing and threatening
BUT The Hill held high
Its head with glory
All its pride and might
Unnerved and beckoning
The revolting clouds to try
Their might and have a fight
Both mighty, made fists tight
Flora and fauna were in fright
They knew the Results of Fight
Were dark and are never bright
There was a thunderous cry
The hill kept his head high
Swayed its trees making strides
To check cloud’s unusual rise
Audible were Cries, sobs and sighs
Hill saw the plight
Of the ones Hill Loved
And thus The Hill bowed
Clouds too swayed
Shaking hands
Both understand
With promising stand
Next time no wands
Only jadu ki Jhappi
Now hand in hand
Smilingly they stand
Clouds get scattered
Sun rays again Filtered
Rainbow Sprinkled
And now everywhere
Smiles twinkled
Close
hi Bhavana

nature, and especially hills , have always been so close to my heart and mind since I came to my senses..... rather lost my senses while I was in love with hills..... they helped me socially as well as economically ( my first job was as a trecker...lolzz...)
Thanks for dropping by and giving me such beautiful comments,

hi Meera,
thanks for the encouraging words dear.
I wish to be enlightened with your suggestions, as I feel that I need much more to learn about poems and poetry
as I learnt to write prose on this site, I think I would be able to learn this art too at sullekha with the help of my friends here.
